GMP is a non-commercial group of musicians striving to ignore general classifications such as classical music, commercial music and the like. We think that there is virtually no reason for such distinction; we even think that such labels add an undesirable evaluation to the generic idea of a composition.
Our cooperation works mainly over the internet by exchanging sound files and pdf sheet music. Each of us works
independantly of the others and the composer of a finished piece is usually the one who had the initial idea.
Whoever is interested in joining us, can contact us by e-mail. There is no elaborate membership system and we are
not desperate for new members.
Feel free to browse through our music. We are planning to have categories such as "fragments", ideas and finished pieces; as well as sorting by instrumentation or style but that is work in progress. In the meantime you will find everything on a single page.
